My name is Happiness Beale and I am 11 years old. I really enjoy dancing. I have been dancing for seven years at The Dance Academy. My Favourite subject is Modern Jazz because it's really funky and creative. All of the dance classes are great!

February/March 2010

My name is Rois Perez and I am 12 years old. I am in grade two ballet and grade three for Modern/jazz and Tap. I have been attending The Dance Academy for about 4 years and I really enjoy it. I recently took exams in ballet, tap and Modern/jazz and passed all three with distinction.

April 2010

My Name is Mia Wyles and I am 9 years old. I have been at the Dance Academy for 6 years. During that time I have danced in lots of shows at the Anvil and The Haymarket Theatre and one at Her Majesty's Theatre in London. My favourite subject is modern Jazz because it is fun and creative. I really enjoy the Medal classes too. In February I did my first Medal Test and got 2 bronze medals. In June I will be competing in my first competition against children from other dance schools.

My name is Charlotte Gerrish. I am 9 years old and I have been dancing for 5 years. My favourite dance genre is modern jazz, I love the music

and really enjoy the routines. I am really excited about the dance festival in June. The dance shows are lots of fun! It is a great way of gaining experience and improving confidence! You also get to meet lots of people.
